Slovakian talisman Marek Hamsik renews Napoli contract until 2020

Napoli have officially confirmed that captain Marek Hamsik has renewed his contract until 2020.
The Slovakian international is going into his 10th year with the club, and has claimed that his intention is to finish his career at the San Paolo.
With his time at the club, Hamsik has tallied over 400 appearances for Napoli since joining from Brescia in 2007, scoring 98 goals and winning the Coppa Italia twice.
Despite interest from Bayern Munich after an impressive string of Euro 2016 performances, it has now been announced that the 29-year-old has signed a new four-year deal.
On their official website, Napoli their delight that their star has committed his future to the club, despite interest from other clubs:
"SSC Napoli is pleased to announce the contract renewal of Marek Hamsik until 2020.”
The Napoli fans will be pleased to hear that Hamsiks' talents will remain at the Partenopei, and that he is committing his future to the cause of the club.
