This year, Los Blancos should have no problem to proceed to the knockout stage, as their only problem will be Borussia Dortmund.

Premier League champions Leicester City will make their debut in Europe's elite soccer competition, looking to reach the knockout stage.

The Foxes have will face two-time Champions League winners FC Porto, as well as Club Brugge and FC København. Leicester will fight through the competition without star player N'Golo Kante. However with new signings Ahmed Musa and Demarai Gray, the Foxes will have plenty of attacking power.

Arsenal have drawn Paris-Saint Germain, Basel and Ludogorets. The Gunners should advance, as PSG should be the only team to give them trouble. However their success in the competition has been limited, being eliminated in the first round of the knockout stage in the last six seasons.

Manchester City, entering the group stage through the playoff round, have drawn Barcelona, Borussia Mönchengladbach, and Scotland Champions Celtic.

The Citizens have seen recent success in the contest, reaching the semifinals in the 2015-16 edition. Pep Guardiola will have a point to prove, after failing to lift the trophy in his three seasons with Bayern Munich.

For Tottenham Hotspur, their continental competition has been refined to UEFA Europa League.

Spurs have some tough fixtures ahead of them, drawing CSKA Moscow, Bayer Leverkusen and AS Monaco, Mauricio Pochettino's side will really be put to the test.
