Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea have reached an agreement to bring David Luiz back to Chelsea.

Chelsea's official website announced the transfer on deadline day as manager Antonio Conte found the center back that he's been looking for.

The Brazil International left West London for the Parc des Princes in 2014 for a sum of £50 million, which remains the highest amount paid for any defender in world football.

PSG are already have a great deal of defenders to fill the shoes of Luiz. Unai Emery is presumed to call upon Brazilian defender Marquinhos, Luiz's compatriot, to fill the spot and play alongside Thiago Silva.

Luiz scored eight goals in 89 appearances for PSG, winning the two Ligue 1 titles, two Coupe de France trophies and two Coupe de la Ligue championships.

Conte has been seeking a centre-back for the majority of the summer, as Kurt Zouma is yet to recover from a serious knee injury and John Terry's contract expires next year, with speculation of a move to China or MLS.

Few have expected Luiz to return to Chelsea, spending such short time away. Nevertheless, the Brazilian is a fan favorite, and they'll fans will be eager to see how Luiz fits into the plans of Antonio Conte.
