Only 2 months ago, we saw Barcelona claim another domestic title in fine fashion, losing only one match in the entire campaign. Now, the 2018-2019 La Liga season will kick off on Friday, August 17th when Girona take on newly promoted side, Real Valladolid before La Liga Titans FC Barcelona and Real Madrid begin their respective campaigns against Alavés and Getafe CF.

So before all the madness will commence, we'll have a look at Soccer Central's 2018-2019 La Liga Predicted Table.

Who's Going to Win? Barcelona. The Reigning Champions shocked everyone last season after Zinedine Zidane's powerful Real Madrid looked favorite to win in the 2017-2018 title. But after the Blaugrana topped Los Blancos by 17 points, we saw that that a Neymar-less Barca are no too strong for the rest of the league. Now going into the new season, its Real Madrid put to the test after their most prolific talisman Cristiano Ronaldo has departed to Serie-A side Juventus. It leaves new manager Julen Lopetegui with the task of getting the most out their current attacking talent.

Soccer Central predicts Atletico Madrid to finish third but will not be surprised if Los Rojiblancos finish higher up the table. Finally, we predict Valencia to secure the remaining Champions League spot with loads of talent including the teams leading scorer Rodrigo, a young defensive-minded midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia and the young Portuguese man Gonçalo Guedes.

At the bottom of the table, Soccer Central predicts all three newly-promoted sides to return to the Spanish Segunda División.
