Over 5,000 fans packed the stands to witness Cristiano Ronaldo's unofficial debut in a Juventus shirt. The Portuguese talisman scored himself a goal (not to our surprise) just eight minutes in and also showcased his many skills and tricks. His new attacking partner Paulo Dybala also managed to bag a couple of goals for himself.

But the Italian league titans face a new challenge going into the 2018-19 season. Aside from the desire to win their eighth consecutive Scudetto, the Old Lady are as determined as ever to secure their first European Title in over 20 years. So before Juve pay a visit to Chievo for their opening game, we will take a look at a starting line-up they may field.

We predict Juventus to play a 4-2-3-1 formation. In goal we have Wojciech Szczęsny. Juve acquired the Polish International just over a year ago as a replacement for Gianluigi Buffon should he either retire or depart for another club. However, Massimiliano Allegri may have a tough choice to make after signing Mattia Perrin from fellow Italian side Genoa this summer.
In defense we have chosen Giorgio Chiellini and Medhi Benatia to play centre-back with Alex Sandro and new signing João Cancelo to play full back. There is also the option of Daniele Rugani and Leonardo Bonucci to rotate into the line-up.
Just in front of the back four we have picked Miralem Pjanic and World-Cup Winner Blaise Matuidi. Now there is a huge lot of midfielders to pick from but we assume Allegri to chose experience to pull the strings in the middle-third.
In attack we expect 3 attacking midfielders, Douglas Costa and Juan Cuadrado to play wide with Dybala in the middle, and Cristiano Ronaldo playing alone up-top. This attack on-paper seems absolutely lethal, offering pace and technical ability on all fronts. Of course Juventus have the option of World Cup Finalist Mario Mandžukić and Federico Bernardeschi to add a different element to the attack.
