Despite the Premier League Transfer Window ending 3 weeks earlier than in previous seasons, the Prem Clubs were busy this summer. So today, we will look at some of the best performances by new signings.
We start with the opening game where Manchester United topped Leicester City in a 2-1 win. Manchester United's £50m Fred did relatively well on his debut, linking up play and protecting possession in the midfield and breaking up opposition build-up play which earned him a standing ovation from the Red Devils' Fans when he was subbed off in the second-half.

Leicester, however, showcased a few new signees in the first week in James Maddison, Ricardo Pereira and Rachid Ghezzal. All three performed relatively well with James Maddison, the 21-year-old star from Norwich, playing the catalyst role in Leicester's attack before being subbed off. Ricardo Pereira seemed a dangerous threat on the right flank, causing trouble to United's defense.
Chelsea new boy and former Napoli midfielder Jorginho looked very solid on his Premier League debut. The Italian pulled all the strings in the midfield, capping off his performance with a well-taken penalty. Chelsea's new net-minder Kepa Arrizabalaga also looked to be comfortably settling into the Premier League as he kept a clean sheet.

Naby Keita showed many of his qualities and earned much praise from manager Jurgen Klopp in Liverpool's 4-0 thumping of West Ham. The former RB Leipzig midfielder showed he could do it all whether it was making tackles in the defensive third or playing a perfectly weighted pass to trigger Liverpool's many dangerous counter attacks. New keeper Allison also did well, displaying his abilities with his feet as well as keeping a clean sheet.
Though Saturday's contest between Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers proved to be a cracking match, Everton's new signing Richarlison made the headlines, netting 2 goals and earning a point for the Toffees.

Though Southampton may have not picked up all three points in their match agains Burnley, the Saints can be assured that their new signing Jannik Vestegaard shows real potential in strengthening their defense after Virgil Van Dijk departed for Liverpool this winter. The Danish International controlled Saints box on their way to hold a clean sheet.
And Finally, the weekend was rounded off with a dominant performance by Manchester City, beating Arsenal 2-0. The reigning Premier League champions debuted Riyad Mahrez, who transferred from Leicester City this summer. The Algerian put in a great performance and proved to be another key component to Pep Guardiola's attack.
